China Harbour Company awarded earthworks Contract for New Murabba

New Murabba Development Company announced in a statement that it has signed with China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd, an earthworks excavation contract for the first phase of excavation required for the future construction of the basement structures underneath the Mukaab and surrounding podiums.
The contract was signed by Eng. Sabah Barakat, Acting CEO of New Murabba Development Company, and Qiao Yongli, General Manager – Branch of China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd.
The scope of work also includes the backfilling and ground improvements of the surrounding development areas.

The award of this scope to China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd, as well as to a number of other key partners, helps ensure that the New Murabba and the Mukaab can be delivered as per their ambitious vision and will contribute to developing the largest modern downtown in the world in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
