Nesma & Partners awarded Social Habilitation Centre Contract in AlUla

The Royal Commission for AlUla recently awarded a two-year construction contract to construct The Social Habilitation Centre in AlUla to Nesma & Partners Company, one of PIF’s partially owned companies.
The Social Habilitation Centre in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, is a groundbreaking project aimed at fostering the integration of individuals with disabilities into supportive communities. With its comprehensive range of services, this project addresses the diverse needs of people with disabilities, providing them with opportunities for growth, learning, and social engagement. Notably, this project holds the distinction of being the second largest of its kind in Saudi Arabia, highlighting its significance and scale within the country.
The center encompasses a vast area of 20,000 m2 and comprises three distinct buildings: the Early Childhood Education and Therapeutic Centre, along with separate Adult Training and Vocational Habilitation Centers for males and females. In addition to these indoor facilities, the centre also features dedicated outdoor spaces for after-school activities and training, promoting a holistic approach to development and integration.
The Social Habilitation Centre in AlUla stands out as a monumental project in Saudi Arabia, being the second largest endeavor of its kind in the country. By addressing the needs of individuals with disabilities and providing them with a supportive environment for growth, education, and vocational training, this center promotes inclusivity and empowerment. As the project moves forward, with the construction contract currently in the process of being signed, it is poised to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities and their communities in Saudi Arabia.
