EVO signed PO with HEI for water treatment project in Saudi Arabia

EVO Environmental Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd, (EVO) successfully signed PO with Harbin Electric International Engineering Co., Ltd. (HEI) for the water treatment system of the Nairyah 2 1800MW and Rumah 2 1800MW Combined Cycle Power Project . This contract includes boiler feed water treatment, wastewater treatment and zero liquid discharge systems with a total contract value of over 100 million yuan. The successful signing of this contract is a major milestone in the company's process of developing the high - end market in the Middle East and has effectively promoted the company's internationalization strategy.
The Rumah 2 project is located in Riyadh Province of Saudi Arabia while the Nairyah 2 project is located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Both projects adopt Combined Cycle Technology to use natural gas as the main fuel and diesel as the backup fuel while the cooling method is air cooling. The projects feature advanced design to be environmentally friendly and highly efficient. Once completed, the projects will become one of the largest combinedcycle power stations in the world and are expected to meet the electricity demand of about 1.5 million households.
In this international bidding, EVO stood out from many domestic and foreign competitors with its technical strength and rich experience in overseas projects. The successful signing of the contract has further enhanced the company's comprehensive competitiveness in undertaking large scale overseas water treatment projects.

On May 15, the kickoff meeting for the water treatment system project of the Nairyah 2 and Rumah 2 Combined Cycle Power Projects was successfully held at the headquarters of EVO in Nanjing. Leaders from Harbin Electric International, representatives from BV Company and the project execution team of EVO attended the meeting.
At the meeting, leaders from HEI introduced the overall situation and importance of the project and put forward guiding opinions on subsequent engineering design, material procurement and equipment production. Experts from BV also gave a detailed explanation from the aspect of equipment quality control. Finally, the project execution team of EVOpresented a detailed implementation plan for this project to the leaders and experts. EVO ’s leaders once again emphasized their full attention to this project. EVO will gather all the efforts to focus on personnel allocation, quality control and other aspects to build this project into a benchmark project in the Middle East market.
