Recently, great news came from Benin. The National Water Corporation awarded CJIC the Peri-Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project III in Benin.
The main works of the project consist of the supply and installation of PVC-U and PE pipes, valves, manholes and other ancillary works. The project is funded by the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) and the construction period is 15 months. The completed project will greatly improve the water supply conditions in the Porto-Novo suburb area and improve the domestic water quality for 300 thousand local residents. The project is the first project that CJIC won in Benin and lays the solid foundation for the company to further cultivate the local market and to explore the French-Speaking Regions in the West Africa.
