The Tennessee Builders Alliance (TBA), a team including heavyweights Aecom and Turner Construction will be the construction manager at risk for the Tennessee Titans’ new stadium.

Nashville-headquartered ICF Builders and Brentwood-based Polk & Associates are also part of TBA.

Located in Nashville’s East Bank, the new 1.7m-sq-ft stadium will accommodate up to 60,000 people.

It will have a circular translucent roof, improved sightlines for all spectators, and a 12,000-sq-ft community space.

TBA will oversee preconstruction and construction management, and will choose trade contractors to work on the project.

Estimated to cost $2.1bn, construction on the new stadium is due to begin in 2024 and be completed by 2027.

$1.2bn will come from public funds, making it the biggest US stadium subsidy ever.

In a rare move, the new venue will have a smaller capacity then the previously used Nissan Stadium, which could seat 69,100 fans.
