Skanska builds a new office building and innovation premises in Stockholm for about SEK 800 million

Skanska has signed an agreement with Fabege to build a new office building with associated innovation center for High-speed separators in Flemingsberg, Stockholm. The agreement is worth approximately SEK 800 million, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Sweden in the third quarter of 2022.
The project is divided into two phases and is carried out in close cooperation between Fabege and Skanska. In 2021, an agreement was signed for phase 1, which included planning participation and production preparations. The second phase, which is now starting, includes the construction of a twelve-storey office building with a restaurant which houses the development and innovation center in 2 floors with double height ceilings. There will also be an underlying parking area and a park landscape on the roof.
The project has high sustainability ambitions, and the buildings will be equipped with solar cells and geoenergy. The objective is to certify the property according to the environmental certification system BREEAM-SE, level Excellent.
The project's gross area is approximately 30,000 square meters and the tenant is Alfa Laval. The work will begin immediately and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2025.
