Brazilian highway deal awarded for Minas Gerais

A major highway contract for Brazil’s Minas Gerais State has been awarded to Italian firm INC. The Rodoanel de Belo Horizonte ring road will be handled under the PPP model.

The Minas Gerais State Government is contributing US$472.8 million to the works required. Building the Rodoanel de Belo Horizonte ring road is expected to come with a pricetag of $807.65 million.
