High-Speed EMUs for Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway Rolled Off the Production Line in Qingdao
13 August 2022The high-speed EMUs customized for Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, with Chinese standards adopted, successfully rolled off the production line in Qingdao on August 5.
The high-speed EMU for Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway features the streamline appearance, and the silver and red coating symbolizes the wishes for prosperity. The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed EMUs are power-distributed type with a maximum operating speed of 350km/h, which features advanced technology, safety, intelligence, strong environmental adaptability, and distinctive local characteristics.
The high-speed EMUs were designed and manufactured by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. CRRC Sifang finished the design and manufacture relying on the advanced and proven 350km/h Fuxing EMU technology of Chinese standards. The design and manufacture followed Chinese standards, with customizations based on local operation environment and alignment conditions, and absorption of local culture.It is a landmark project of the Belt and Road Initiative and a symbol for the pragmatic cooperation between China and Indonesia.
