Tender launched for USD160.39 million port terminal PPP projects in Brazil

National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ) in Brazil has launched tender notice seeking private partners for the STS11 terminal at Port of Santos and SUA07 terminal at Port of Suape.
STS11 solid bulk terminal will be developed on an area of 98,159 m² located in the Paquetá region on the right bank of the Santos Port Complex. The terminal will be developed in two phases and will have two exclusive berths. It will handle and store solid vegetable bulk, especially sugar, soybeans, corn and soybean meal.
SUA07 multipurpose terminal at Port of Suape will handle and store vegetable bulk, mineral bulk and general cargo. The terminal will have the capacity to handle 910 thousand tons/year of mineral bulk; 220 thousand tons/year of vegetable bulk and 90 thousand tons/year of bagged sugar.
