The Commencement Ceremony of the Outapi Water Treatment Plant Upgrade & Extension Project was held in Namibia

On December 6, the Commencement Ceremony of Outapi Water Treatment Plant Upgrade & Extension Project constructed by CJIC was held in Namibia. The Minister of the Namibia Agriculture, Water & Land Reform, Calle Schelttwein gave speech at the Ceremony, The CEO of Namibia Water Corporation Ltd., the representatives of CJIC and local community attended.
In the Minister’s speech, he expressed that the implementation of the Project would relief the pressure of the existing water supply system, and protect the water safety for the northwestward citizens, promote local economic and social development with high quality. He hope CJIC could control the project quality strictly, and make the project accomplish on time to create more well-being for residents.
The Outapi Water Treatment Plant Upgrade & Extension Project locates in the northwest of Namibia with 830km distance to the capital city, Windhoek, the project duration is 16 months.
