CGGC Angola Company Signs Contract for External Power Transmission and Transformation Project in Huatong Aluminum Industrial Park (Phase I) in Angola
19 July 2024Recently, CGGC Angola Company signed the Contract for External Power Transmission and Transformation Project in Huatong Aluminum Industrial Park (Phase I) in Angola.
Situated in ORD Industrial Park, Dande Free Trade Zone, Bengo Province, Angola, the Project involves the construction of two single-circuit 400kV transmission lines and a transformer substation.
Project Rendering
Upon completion, the Project will not only satisfy the power demands of Huatong Aluminum Industrial Park (Phase I), but also supply electric power to Dande Free Trade Zone, dramatically boosting the zone’s vigorous development. The successful signing of the Project is an evidence of the practical role and functions of CGGC Angola Company, Chinese enterprises’ active participation in promoting the economic diversification and industrialization in Angola, and their efforts in boosting local economic development and creating employment opportunities.
