Romania: Delgaz Grid completed a 7.5 million euro project for substation modernization

Delgaz Grid, an electricity and natural gas distributor, has completed a project worth 7.5 million euro to modernize five substations in Vaslui county in Romania.
Of the total project costs, 23 million lei were covered by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), 4 million lei were provided by the state budget, and 10.2 million lei were Delgaz Grid’s own resources, Delgaz Grid said in a press release.
The project involved replacing high- and medium-voltage equipment and integrating the substations into a smart grid control system.
Delgaz Grid operates a natural gas network of 25,800 km in twenty counties and an 81,500 km electricity grid in six counties in northern and western Romania.
