Puerto Rico transport infrastructure repairs

Puerto Rico is setting a budget to tackle transport infrastructure repairs in a bid to improve traffic flow and also road safety. Some US$901 million will be directed towards repairing road and bridge links across Puerto Rico.
The budget is being set by the US Department of Transportation (DOT). The work will be carried out over a five year period. Of the $901 million total budget, $225 million will be specifically for upgrading, repairing or replacing Puerto Rico’s bridges.
