Acciona to build São Paulo road for €334m
14 February 2026
Spain’s Acciona has signed a €334m deal with São Paulo’s city council to build a 4.7km road connecting Avenida Jornalista Roberto Marinho with Rodovia dos Imigrantes in the south of the city.
An extension of Avenida Roberto Marinho, a key logistic artery and a link between São Paulo and the coastline, Acciona will build a three-lane highway in each direction, plus a cycle lane, two tunnels and three viaducts.
The road aims to improve connectivity and also reduce congestion.
The project’s scope includes drainage works to divert an existing stormwater channel and creation of a landscaped park with recreational areas.
