31 July 2025
Vinci Energies has signed an agreement to acquire German HVAC specialist Zimmer & Hälbig for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 1974, Zimmer & Hälbig generated revenue of €96m last year. It employs 310 people in seven locations.
Vinci praised its technical experience in hospitals, laboratories, industrial facilities, clean rooms and data centres.
It will be integrated into Vinci Energies Building Solutions’ network of 150 business units in Germany, which employ 16,600 people in 385 locations.
Last year, Vinci Group generated almost €5.6bn in Germany, its second-biggest international market. Of that, €4.1bn came from its energy businesses.
The deal is subject to approval by the German competition authorities.
The move comes days after Vinci Energies said it was buying Romanian electrical infrastructure engineer EnergoBit.
