Wison joint hands with Tongxing Tech on carbon capture cooperation
5 June 2025
On June 5, 2025, Wison Engineering and Tongxing Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tongxing Tech.") signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Tongxing Tech.'s Hefei Operation Center, aiming to promote in-depth cooperation between the two parties in carbon capture technology development and application, floating carbon capture, tail gas treatment, and global EPC engineering projects. Lv Jianning, VP of Wison Engineering, and Zheng Guangming, Chairman of Tongxing Technology, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Senior management teams and technical experts from both companies witnessed this important moment together.
This strategic cooperation will combine Wison Engineering's technical development capabilities and rich engineering experience in energy engineering projects with Tongxing Tech.'s leading advantages in industrial tail gas emission treatment, including its independently developed TX series customized carbon capture absorbents, TXio process, and low-temperature SCR catalyst technology, to provide customers with competitive systematic solutions of carbon capture and tail gas treatment in the chemical engineering and difficult-to-reduce emission fields. The two parties will work together to deepen cooperation, make full use of their respective technology, products, services, markets and resource advantages, and jointly explore the carbon capture and tail gas treatment market.
Lv Jianning systematically introduced the development history, business scope and new energy development direction of Wison Engineering. In the field of new energy, Wison Engineering focuses on three major technical routes and continues to build the company's technical advantages: one is the multi-conversion of electricity and hydrogen, namely Power-to-X; the second is the multi-conversion of biomass, namely Biomass-to-X; and the third is Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU). He expressed his expectation that the two sides will deepen professional collaboration, form innovative synergy through complementary advantages, and jointly inject development momentum into promoting the green upgrade of the energy and chemical industry.
Zheng Guangming, Chairman of Tongxing Tech., said: Focusing on the "dual carbon" goal, the company has actively laid out CCUS business and has the ability to provide full-process services in CCUS business research and development, design, manufacturing and construction. In terms of key technologies, the company's independently developed TX series customized carbon capture absorbent has been identified by authoritative institutions as having reached the international advanced level in overall performance, solving the international problem that complex amine absorbents are easily oxidized and significantly reducing energy consumption.
This strategic cooperation marks the complementary advantages and deep synergy of the two companies in the field of low-carbon technology. This cooperation will not only enhance the competitiveness of both parties in the low-carbon solution market, but also provide an innovative paradigm for promoting the green transformation of the energy and chemical industry. The two parties will jointly explore the large-scale application path of carbon neutral technology, promote carbon emission reduction throughout the life cycle of the energy and chemical industry through technological innovation and industrial synergy, inject new impetus into the realization of sustainable development goals, and create a new future of coordinated development of economic, environmental and social benefits.
