Webuild selected for €1.1bn hospital in Perth, Australia
29 May 2025
Italy’s Webuild has signed a €1.1bn contract to design and build a hospital for women and children in Perth on behalf of the government of Western Australia.
The project will replace the 108-year-old Edward Memorial Hospital, and will be fully built by Webuild.
When complete, it will increase the capacity of the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.
Australia is Webuild’s second largest market after Italy. In November 2024, it was awarded a €1bn contract for Melbourne’s Suburban Rail Loop East metro project.
