CJIC awarded two road improvement projects in Cambodia

China Jiangxi International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd. (CJIC) has been awarded two road improvement projects as Cambodia Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Management Project ll Lot 3 and Lot 4. The projects are commissioned by the Ministry of Rural Development of Cambodia and financed by the World Bank Group.
The awarded project are located in Kampong Chhnang and Pursat provinces, with a combined total road length of approximately 50 kilometers. Scope of work includes unexploded ordnance clearance, earthworks and pavement construction, concrete drainage structures, and the related auxiliary infrastructure. The construction period is scheduled for 18 months.
They have been the ice-breaking international engineering projects awarded to the company since its re-entry into the Cambodian market since May 2024, marking a firm footing for CJIC’s business growth in the Kingdom, underscoring a significant rebound in this well-trodden market and presenting a strategic leap forward for CJIC in developing its another Asian nation-state market.
