Recently, the consortium formed by CEIG JSPDI and NEPC successfully won the bid for the Philippines' first large-scale floating solar project—NKS Caliraya Lake Floating Solar EPC Contracting Project(DC Part). This marks another milestone for CEEC in expanding its presence in overseas markets.
The project is located on Caliraya Lake in Lumban City, Laguna Province, Philippines, with an installed capacity of 131 MW. The scope of the contract includes the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the entire floating solar power plant's floating system and 34.5kV AC output.
Upon completion, the project is expected to generate 200 million kWh of electricity annually, bringing significant environmental and economic benefits to the Philippines. It will reduce carbon emissions, promote local economic development, and lay a solid foundation for the sustainable energy future of the Philippines.
