Bahrain receives Bid for New Hawar SWRO Desalination Plant worth $144.9 million

Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain receives the bidder proposal for the New Hawar SWRO Desalination Plant.
Alpha Energy Generation Co. W.L.L only submit the Bid. The Company submits the Price of BHD 54.4 million.
As per the tender notification, the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain intends to issue a public international tender to construct a new seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, based on EPC Contract, namely “New Hawar SWRO Desalination Plant” in Hawar Island on the southeastern coast of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Plant consists of Desalination Facility to be designed for a Net Water Capacity (GNCWC) of one to two (1-2) MIGD of potable water, two (2) Ground Storage Tanks (GSTs) of 1 MIG capacity each, and the associated forwarding pumps.
