Montenegro: EPCG plans 46.96 MW Krupac solar power plant near Niksic

Montenegrin state-owned power utility EPCG is planning to build a 46.96 MW solar power plant in the municipality of Nikšić. The company has submitted a request to the Environmental Protection Agency to assess whether an environmental impact assessment (EIA) is required for the project.
The proposed solar power plant will be located near Krupac Lake, covering an area of 118.42 hectares. The project will also include the construction of approximately 2 kilometers of access roads. Once completed, the Krupac solar power plant is expected to generate 61.68 GWh of electricity annually.
