The 65MWp Areco Solar PV Power Plant Project in Philippines Officially Starts Construction
19 July 2024On July 14th local time, the groundbreaking ceremony and mobilization meeting of 65MWp ArecoSolar PV PowerPlant Project in Philippines, contracted by China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power EngineeringCo.,Ltd.(SEPEC), was held, marking the official entry into the construction implementation stage of the first photovoltaic power generation project in the Philippines by the Institute.
The ArecoSolar PV Power Plant Project in the Philippines is a newly built project with a construction scale of 50MW, including a 22kV/69kV booster station, a 2-kilometer transmission line, and the expansion of the opposite substation interval. The construction of this project will further enhance the local capacity for environmentally friendly energy supply, improve the energy consumption structure, and play a significant role in promoting high-quality economic and social development as well as supporting the Philippines in achieving its 2030 renewable energy development goals.
