The Construction of Cambodia Upper Tatay Hydropower Station Reached a Milestone
21 June 2024On May 31, 2024, the filling of the Kep River Dam of the Upper Tatay Hydropower Station in Cambodia reached the flood height of 353 meters as scheduled, marking the successful completion of the most important milestone of the Project in 2024.
Since the dam filling project started on March 1, 2023, the project management team has been united and brave, actively coordinating the construction units, and fully promoting the construction process, at the same time, lean management, overcome difficulties, strictly observe the safety and quality of the project, and escort the project construction.
The Kep River dam is a concrete face and rock-fill dam with a crest elevation of 375 meters, a maximum dam height of 69 meters, and a dam axis length of 1120 meters. At present, the dam filling has reached the flood height of 353 meters, which has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent construction.
