Sweco to advise on water infrastructure in Ukraine
18 May 2024
Sweco is advising on two projects to secure drinking water and modernise wastewater treatment in two Ukrainian communities, Kobleve and Dobroslav.
Financed by Swedish development finance institution, Swedfund, the Sweco team will advise on wastewater treatment, water engineering, hydrology, and environmental impact assessments in projects.
Kobleve is a rural resort region on the Black Sea near the boundary between Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts.
Sweco will advise on boosting its drinking-water supply and wastewater treatment.
Dobroslav is a rural settlement in Odesa Raion. Here, Sweco will advise on an entirely new wastewater treatment system.
Sweco’s work is expected to run from June this year to the first quarter of 2025.
