With this achievement, the Thai facility now boasts a full solar manufacturing chain, from silicon wafer slicing to photovoltaic cells and modules. The wafer slicing project is planned for a 5GW capacity, utilizing advanced equipment and technology to significantly enhance the efficiency and quality of CHINT Astronergy's products, making them more competitive in the global market.
The successful expansion in Thailand demonstrates CHINT Astronergy's commitment to improving its overseas product supply capability, customer responsiveness, and supply chain efficiency. The swift ramp-up of production capacity at this base is expected to not only boost CHINT Astronergy's presence in the global solar industry but also stimulate local photovoltaic manufacturing, fostering job creation and contributing to the local economy.
