SUMEC secures multiple long-row power station projects in Southern Africa
3 April 2024An electromechanical company under Sinomach subsidiary SUMEC Group Corporation (SUMEC) has achieved a significant milestone by securing a series of consecutive long-row power station application projects in Southern Africa. This remarkable feat includes provision of 30MW FIRMAN high-power long-row generator sets aimed at ensuring a stable power supply for local mineral mining projects in the region. The company's generator sets are designed to operate with steadfastness, reliability, and efficiency, even in the face of highly unstable external power voltage conditions. This capability will play a pivotal role in meeting the long-term power requirements of end-users, particularly in Southern Africa's hot and humid environment.
Furthermore, the company has proactively explored innovative approaches to deliver clean, reliable, and comprehensive power solutions for countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). As a result, it has earned the trust of stakeholders in the region's burgeoning power demand market, solidifying its position as a preferred and dependable partner.
This significant achievement not only underscores the company's commitment to addressing the pressing energy needs of Southern Africa but also highlights its broader vision of contributing to sustainable and efficient power solutions within the BRI framework. With its continued dedication to excellence and innovation, the company is poised to make a lasting impact on the energy landscape of the region.
