Montenegro: CGES to reconstruct two transmission lines
7 February 2024
Electricity transmission system operator CGES is implementing a project for replacing existing conductors, insulators, suspension and connecting equipment on the 110 kV transmission lines Perucica – Danilovgrad and Podgorica – Danilovgrad.
This project is important for the reliability and safety of these lines and for the stability of the electricity system. The works on the reconstruction will be carried out until March 15.
CGES said that it will be necessary to disconnect several elements of the network owned by the distribution system operator CEDIS, including 35 kV and 10 kV transmission lines and low-voltage networks.
