WIETC Signed Contract for the Jashore Airport Runway Project in Bangladesh

Recently, good news came from Bangladesh market. WIETC received the bid-awarding notification from Bangladesh Civil Aviation Administration for Jashore Airport Runway project. Subsequently, Mr. Li Meng, General Manager of WIETC Bangladesh Company, signed the project contract with the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Administration of Bangladesh.
Located in Jashore City in southwest Bangladesh, the Jashore Airport Runway project includes the widening of original airport runway, asphalt runway covering and the construction of drainage system and ground lighting system, etc. with a duration of 18 months. Upon completion, the project will further enhance the operation capacity of Jashore Airport, greatly improve local transportation, and make it more convenient for local residents to travel. The project contract was awarded to WIETC because of the owner’s recognition of the company’s ability in international airport construction. It will further enrich the company’s performance in international airport engineering and improve its ability to build international airport project.
