Qatar’s QEMC awarded MEP Works for 800.75MW Solar Plant Project
26 January 2024Electro-Mechanical Co.W.L.L-QATAR [QEMC] announced in a statement that it has awarded MEP works contract for 800.75MW Solar Plant Project.
The Contract was awarded by main EPC, Samsung C&T.
The duration of the contract is 09 months.

Earlier, during 2022, QatarEnergy awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for its industrial cities solar power project (IC Solar). This project includes 2 large scale photovoltaic (or PV) solar power plants to be built in Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC) and Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) and is expected to start electricity production by the end of 2024. The two mega-solar power plants to generate 875 MW of renewable electricity. (read more)
