Taihan awarded $42 million 400kV Cable Project in Kuwait

Taihan Cable & Solution, South Korea announced in a statement that it has awarded 400kV Underground Cable Project in Kuwait.
The value of the contract is USD 42 million.
The Project was awarded by Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Kuwait.
This project is to connect the substation in the Wafra area, located in southern Kuwait, with the power plant in the new city of Khiran and the substation in Sulaibiya with a 400kV underground power grid. Taihan Electric Wire supplies all materials, including 400kV ultra-high voltage cables and connecting materials, and carries out business in a turnkey manner, including power grid design, connection, and testing.
