20 December 2023
On October 17, during the Third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum held in Beijing, Mr. Wang Qifeng, Chairman of SDHS, and Goran Vesic, Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia, jointly signed the commercial contract for the Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad highway project.
As an important transportation artery in northern Serbia, the 103 kilometer-long highway connects the Serbian capital Belgrade, the industrial town Zrenjanin and the second largest city Novi Sad. This is the first "planning + design + construction" project implemented by a Chinese enterprise under the framework of the China-Serbia Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Infrastructure, marking a milestone in SDHS’s business expansion in the Central and Eastern European market in response to the "Belt and Road" initiative.
