In total, more than 180 million euros were invested in this project

The Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović said today that “HE Đerdap 1” is one of the pillars of the electric power system and that its revitalization ensured a longer working life, as well as greater production and reliability of the operation of this power plant.

– “HE Đerdap 1” has been the pride of Serbian hydropower for more than five decades, and with a successful revitalization it will certainly be so for the next 30 to 40 years, it is a part of history, but with the completion of the revitalization it will also be a part of the future of Serbia – Minister Đedović Handanović said.
