CJIC Won Nacala Cement Plant Expansion Project in Mozambique
9 November 2023Recently, great news came from Mozambique. Cimentos de Moçambique S.A. officially awarded CJIC the Nacala Cement Plant Expansion Project in Mozambique.
The main works consist of the alteration and addition to the existing cement plant under operation, including partly demolition of the concrete structures, newly construction and partly alteration to the ancillary facilities, so as to expand the existing cement production line to the one with a daily output of 3000t of clinker cement. The construction period is eight months.
Cimentos de Moçambique S.A. is the earliest cement company established in Mozambique who holds a comprehensive cement clinker plant in Maputo, the capital of the country and operates four powder grinding stations nationwide, covering the entire market of Mozambique. The successful award of the project will further consolidate and enhance the competitiveness of CJIC in Mozambique, laying a favorable foundation for the development in the relevant business areas.
