Building two healthcare facilities in UK
6 October 2023
The Integrated Health Projects joint venture, composed of VINCI Building (VINCI Construction) and Sir Robert McAlpine, has been appointed by the Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to design and build two new 54-bed mental health facilities specialising in adult acute care.
These will be built at the Kingsway Hospital in Derby and in the grounds of the Chesterfield Royal Hospital, in the north-east of England. The two units will offer modern equipment and resources such as a shared therapy room incorporating the activities of daily living. The works are scheduled for completion in summer 2024.
