HD Hyundai Electric announced in a statement that it has signed a contract with Saudi Arabia’s Al Gihaz Contracting Company to supply electric equipment for a new 380/132kV Substation in NEOM City.

The Value of the contract is USD 50.8 million.

Under the contract, HD Hyundai Electric will provide, High Voltage transformers, High Voltage switchgears, and Reactors for the substation, named NEOM Mountain Bulk Supply Point (BSP).

In August 2023, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the contract to Al Gihaz Contract Company to construct NEOM Mountain BSP.
