Bahrain received Bids for Consultancy Services of 9 new 66kV Substations

Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain received Bidders Proposal for the Consultancy Services for Establishment of 9 new 66kV Substations.
Following, two Bidders have submitted the Proposals:
- SNC-Lavalin – BHD 2,068,481.305
- ESBI ENGINEERING – BHD 2,090,000.000
As per the tender notification, EWA proposes to execute a new Project namely, Establishment of 9 New 66kV Substations Project, which is intended to be launched soon and to be executed during the coming 5 years.
The scope of this limited tender includes Carrying out the required technical and engineering studies, defining the detailed scope of the Project, preparing technical specifications and engineering designs, preparing the tender documents necessary for the implementation of the Project and qualifying the appropriate contractors, conducting tenders and evaluating offers, and supervising the contractors during the Project implementation as per contracts.
