Skanska lands $38.5m mixed-use building in Sandvika, Norway

Skanska has signed a contract with developer Andenæs Eiendom worth $38.5m to build the next phase of the ‘Helgerudkvartalet’ urban development in Sandvika, Norway.
Located some 15km west of Oslo, this phase of the project consists of a mixed-use building containing some 8,500 sq m of housing and 8,200 sq m of commercial space.
The lower floors include shops and restaurants, and the higher floors contain three residential towers with 86 apartments.
The project aims to achieve the BREEAM NOR Excellent environmental certification.
Construction is due to start December 2023 with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025, Skanska said.
