Oman seeks Consultancy Services for Wind IPP

The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC (OPWP), a member of Nama Group seeks to undertake Provision Of Legal and Commercial & Financial Consultancy Services for the Development Of Wind Independent Power Project (IPP).
The tender notification mentioned that, In line with Sultanate of Oman’s vision to diversify fuel sources through the use of clean energy for power generation, OPWP wishes to initiate the procurement process for three (3) following Wind Projects
- Duqm Wind IPP
- Jaalan Bani Bu Ali Wind IPP
- Harweel Wind IPP
The target Schedule Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) by Q2 2026 for Duqm Wind IPP and Jaalan Bani Bu Ali Wind IPP and SCOD by Q4 2026 for Harweel Wind IPP.
OPWP is seeking separate proposals from interested bidders to provide legal consultancy services and Commercial & Financial for the development of the Projects and to advise on the competitive tendering of the Projects.
The tender documents are available for purchase in an electronic format through OPWP website, statement mentioned.
A tender bond of not less than 1% of the tender value, to be valid for a period of 120 days from the submission deadline date is required along with the Proposals.
