Bahrain received Bids for 72 MW Solar Plant
27 December 2022Bahrain’s Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs received Bidders Proposals for the 72 MWac grid-tied solar PV power plant.
Following bidders has submitted the proposals:
- OAK ENERGY AND INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS WLL (BHD 0.018)
- ALPHA ENERGY GENERATIONS CO. W.L.L (BHD 0.016)
- DEFT CONTRACTORS (BHD 0.016)
- Tarsheed energy Consultation and Services (BHD 0.018)
- Green Innova Trading (BHD 21.211)
- YELLOW DOOR ENERGY (BHD 17.890)
- SAFEER FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY (BHD 0.025)
The tender is to award a 20 years contract for local or international bidders to build, own, operate, and maintain grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) power panels with a minimum capacity of 72 MWac in multiple premises located in Sakhir, south of the Kingdom.
The Project works includes construct solar panels in the Bahrain International Circuit, University of Bahrain, Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre, and Al Dana Amphitheatre. The solar panels are to be built on the rooftops, car park shades, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, and ground of these organisations’ facilities.
