Bids Invited for 121 MW of Solar Power Projects in Haryana | Mercom India
30 June 2022Haryana Power Generation Corporation (HPGCL) has invited bids to install and commission 121 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at Faridabad (78 MW), Panipat (25 MW), and Yamuna Nagar (18 MW).
The successful bidder will also have to take care of the operation and maintenance of the project for 15 years.
The last date to submit the bids is August 8, 2022. Bids will be opened on August 10.
The project must be commissioned within nine months from the letter of intent.
The proposed locations of the solar projects are as under:
Bidders will have to submit ₹5 million (~$63,482) as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder will have to furnish 10% of the contract price within 15 days from the letter of intent as a security deposit cum performance bank guarantee.
The bidder should have designed, supplied, erected, supervised, and commissioned grid-connected solar power projects of cumulative installed capacity of 25 MW or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 6 MW or higher capacity.
The reference plant of minimum capacity must have been in operation for at least six months before the bid opening date.
Bidders must have a cumulative financial turnover in the last three financial years of ₹3.4 billion (~$43.17 million). Their net worth in the last financial year should be positive.
The minimum annual capacity utilization factor (CUF) for the first year should be 17%.
The solar modules to be used in the solar projects must be warranted for peak output power, which should not be less than 90% at the end of ten years and not less than 80% at the end of 25 years.
Last November, Panipat Thermal Power Station, an HPGCL unit, invited bids for the operation and maintenance of its 10 MW grid-connected solar power project.
Earlier, HPGCL invited bids for the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a 10 MW solar project in the Jhajjar district of Haryana.
