Ferrovial takes controlling stake in ‘Turkish Riviera’ airport company

Spain’s Ferrovial has signed a €140m deal to acquire 60% of Turkish infrastructure company YDA Group, which manages Turkey’s Dalaman International Airport, one of the gateways to the “Turkish Riviera” on the country’s Aegean and Mediterranean coasts.
YDA has been operating the airport since 2006, completing a new international terminal there in 2018. Its current concession agreement lasts until 2042.
The deal is contingent on customary approvals. Ferrovial said it expected closure in the first half of this year.
