CAMCE signs contract for Iraqi crude oil processing project

On January 21, 2022, CAMCE and the consortium formed by CNOOC Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. and Kuwait Energy Basra Co., Ltd. signed the general contract for the crude oil central processing facility project in the nine districts of Iraq, and the contract became effective upon signing.
The commercial contract value of the crude oil central processing facility project in the nine districts of Iraq is 594 million US dollars, or about 3.768 billion yuan. The project is located in the northern part of Basra Province in southern Iraq, and the block covers an area of 865 square kilometers. The scope of works is to build a central crude oil processing facility with a daily output of 100,000 barrels, and to provide design, procurement, construction and commissioning services for crude oil processing systems and auxiliary systems.
