$720 million! CHEC signs artificial island project with the Philippines

Recently, China Harbour and the owner of the reclamation project in Pasay City, Philippines (SM Smart City Construction and Development Company) reached an agreement on the sand source and construction period of the project, and signed a supplementary agreement.
The construction period was changed from 730 days for island A and 1,095 days for island B and C to 1,155 days for island A and 1,520 days for island B and C in the original full contract.
The Pasay Reclamation Project is adjacent to the commercial center of Metro Manila and forms three artificial islands with a land area of 360 hectares in Manila Bay. The main work includes foundation trench excavation, bank protection, draught filling, foundation treatment and other construction.
This project is currently the largest dredging and reclamation project in the Philippines, and it is also the largest project won by China Harbour in the Philippine market.
