Egis to lead development of €40bn Tel Aviv Metro
6 December 2021
The new metro will have three lines totalling 150km, serving 109 stations.
Egis and local partner Gadish Group will help project owner, NTA Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd. – the state company responsible for the scheme – to create the project’s overall execution strategy, scope of work and procurement for the first 18 months.
Then they will manage the project at the network level up to the start of commercial operations.
Global design, engineering and planning consultancy HDR will also provide specific complementary services to the partnership.
