IHC Mining takes part in the Bidaminna project
17 August 2021
Royal IHC has just announced that Image Resources NL has awarded IHC Mining with an order for the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) of the Bidaminna project in Western Australia.
The Bidaminna project is a proposed future production centre 25 km north-west of Image’s current high-grade, zircon-rich Boonanarring operation.
Much of the Bidaminna mineralisation is below the water table and, as such, is being considered for bulk mining by a dredge operation.
For this project IHC aims to develop a dredge mining operation, which would process over 9 million tonnes of heavy minerals sands per annum.
The scope of the project will combine all of IHC Mining’s industry-proven expertise, including mine planning & pit optimisation, geo-metallurgy & testwork, engineering design and the company’s unique knowledge of dredging and floating concentrator plants.
