Italy's Todini wins 38.9 mln euro road construction deal in Romania
10 January 2021BUCHAREST (Romania), January 8 (SeeNews) - Italian company Todini Costruzioni Generali has won a 189.6 million lei ($47.6 million/38.9 million euro) contract for the construction of a road in the western Romania, Romanian road infrastructure company CNAIR said.
The works should be completed in 24 months, with a seven-year warranty period, CNAIR said in a press release on Thursday.
The contract envisages the design and construction of a road 10 km in length that would connect A1 motorway near Arad to national road 69 near Timisoara.
Rome-based Todini is active in the construction of railways, roads, airports and water dams, among others. The company has operations in 12 countries on four continents and employs 3,738 people.
