Saudi Arabia's Alkhorayef Commercial signs as exclusive dealer for China's SANY Trucks
7 May 2026
Saudi Arabia's Alkhorayef Commercial Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with China's SANY Trucks at the Chinese manufacturer's headquarters to become the exclusive dealer for SANY Trucks in the Kingdom, Okaz reported on May 6.
The deal marks the official launch of SANY Trucks in the Saudi market through an integrated commercial and service operation. The new business unit covers truck sales, financing, maintenance and after-sales services nationwide.
The unit operates through a comprehensive structure including a specialised sales team distributed across Saudi cities, an after-sales service unit with trained technicians, spare parts supply and fleet financing solutions.
Alkhorayef Commercial chief executive Fahd Al Jadaan said the company aimed to position SANY as the preferred choice in the value tier for logistics fleets and contractors in the Kingdom.
He said SANY ranked among the world's five largest manufacturers of heavy equipment and the partnership came at an opportune time given accelerating transport demand under Vision 2030 and its megaprojects.
Founded in 1957, Alkhorayef Commercial provides integrated solutions across agriculture, leisure, marine, energy, logistics and defence sectors in Saudi Arabia. The company holds exclusive dealerships for global brands including Yamaha, John Deere and Volvo Penta, with a sales and service network across the Kingdom.
SANY Group is one of China's three largest manufacturers of construction and heavy equipment, with products in more than 100 countries. The company's trucks are positioned on advanced technology, fuel efficiency and reliable performance across operating environments.
The agreement adds to a growing wave of Chinese commercial vehicle and equipment makers expanding into the Saudi market through local dealer partnerships, drawing on demand from Vision 2030 infrastructure works, NEOM, the Red Sea project and logistics expansion tied to the Saudi Vision for Global Supply Chains initiative.
Heavy commercial vehicle imports into Saudi Arabia have risen in step with construction and logistics activity, with Chinese brands gaining share against established European and Japanese manufacturers on price and financing terms.
"Our strategy is based on selecting global partners with a real product and solid manufacturing capacity. SANY is today among the world's top five manufacturers of heavy equipment, and this partnership comes at an ideal time with the acceleration of demand for transport solutions under Vision 2030 and its mega projects," Al Jadaan said.
