Tender announced for operation and maintenance of $239 million Hospital PPP Project in Peru

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN), on behalf of the Ministry of Health (MINSA), has announced the call for the Comprehensive Project Competition for the selection of national or foreign investors for the National Institute of Child Health - San Borja (INSNSB) in Peru.
In this new concession contract, PROINVERSION and MINSA seek to incorporate the comprehensive equipment replacement service for the hospital, which is considered an obligation of the private operator. Currently, this responsibility falls to MINSA.
Under the contract, which runs until October 2025, the private INSNSB operator is responsible for the so-called green coat services, such as sterilization and clinical pathology; and the gray coat services, which include building maintenance, installations, and electromechanical equipment, maintenance of clinical and non-clinical equipment, and the operation and maintenance of general services such as laundry, food, cleaning, and security, among others.
Following this call for proposals, PROINVERSIÓN plans to award the contract to the qualified bidder in the first quarter of 2026, in accordance with the bidding conditions. The total estimated cost of the project is PEN 884 million (US$239.46 million), excluding VAT.
