SYSTRA: A LONG-TERM CONTRIBUTION TO THE SANTIAGO METRO
The Santiago metro system is a historic reference for SYSTRA, which drew up the first plans as early as 1968 and has been involved in the design of most of the lines.
BETTER CONNECTIONS AND REDUCED JOURNEY TIMES
Designed to improve links between the north-east and south-east of Santiago, line 8, with a length of 19 kilometres, will be entirely underground and will pass through 6 municipalities. This will bring transport closer to almost 2 million inhabitants, who will see their journey times cut by almost 60%.
