CEEC Cusco Road Project in Peru Handed Over
26 December 2024The Cusco road project in Peru, which was built by China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd. (CGGC), a subsidiary of CEEC, was successfully completed and handed over on December 15, local time.
Heads of the Peruvian Ministry of Transportation and Communication and the Cusco Region, the World Bank Director for Andean Countries, as well as head of the project owner COPESCO, graced the handover ceremony with their presence and delivered speeches.
They emphasized the project's pivotal role in advancing local economic and social development and enhancing people's quality of life, and extended heartfelt appreciation to CGGC for its exceptional work and the professionalism and excellence exhibited throughout the project's construction.
The Cusco road project, situated in the renowned tourist city of Cusco, is much-anticipated by the locals.
Its completion will not only effectively enhance the city's traffic conditions and improve road efficiency but also significantly boost the city's tourism reception capacity, offering visitors a more convenient and comfortable travel experience.
To date, CGGC has successfully secured and executed 21 projects in Peru. The group will continue to uphold the spirit of mutual benefit and cooperation, strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders, and commit to advancing infrastructure and energy development in Peru, paving the way towards a brighter future.
